My Tardis Cosplay 2011

This costume was from my first cosplay event! As I am a total Doctor Who fangirl, I went as the Tardis.
It's a blue dres with iron on windows and transfers for the signs, fabric sharpie for the wood detailing, lace gloves, black tights, long black boots. The Tardis light was made of plastic and blue card, ziptied to a headband. Blue ribbon, lace and feathers were added, as well as an LED inside the casing, attached to two coin batteries. I am also wearing light-up cubic zirconia earrings, but they can't really be seen in this image. Other props that I had were a friend's sonic screwdriver (10th/9th Doctor's) and a gorgeous little 10th Doctor doll a friend crocheted for me. I had no pockets, so I had to stuff him down my boot. My name tag reads "Hello, my name is Sexy. AKA the Tardis" lol
I won second place with this cosplay! Interestingly, my prize was a 1:24 scale dicast model Delorean time machine from Back to the Future. What happens when you give a time machine a time machine? :/
